FAQ - Students      Where will the tuition be held? Lessons are normally conducted at the student's home except in a group tuition environment where it can be conducted at the Tutor's home, a public place or another student's home. How do we ensure that the tutor is qualified? We require the tutors to submit a copy of their educational/professional qualifications to us for verification when registering. Students are also allowed to request tutors to show them the original certificates on their first lesson for their verification. We indicate whether the tutor's qualification has been verified with TuiTionTube.com using a verified status tag. What happens if we don't find the tutor suitable after the first lesson? Only at TuiTionTube.com, students are given the privilege of having three choices of tutors. We will only recommend our tutors after stringent selection on our part. While first impression do matters, the tutor should be given a fair chance to prove himself or herself. The student is therefore advised to have at least two lessons before deciding to terminate the tutor's services. TuiTionTube.com will subsequently replace the tutor with another. Ultimately, the tutor's ability to effectively communicate his or her knowledge to the student remains the most crucial criteria. How is the commission payment like? Upon completing the first 2 weeks of lessons which is required to complete within a month, student /parent will pay 50% of the tutor's fees to TuiTionTube.com within 5 working days upon completion of the 2 weeks lessons. Student/parent will then pay the remaining 50% to the tutor upon completion of one month lessons. This is only applicable for the very first month of the tutor's tuition assignment. Subsequently, the agency will no longer collect any fees from the tutor for that assignment. Student will pay the full 100% tuition fees to the tutor for the subsequent months. The mode of payment acceptable by TuiTionTube.com is either by cheque, money order or bank draft. Cheque and money order or bank draft must be made payable to "Singapore Education Specialists Pte Ltd" and mailed to 10 Anson Road International Plaza #27-18 Singapore 079903 within 5 days from the end of the month.

	FAQ - Tutors      Which scheme should I join - as a Silver, Gold or Platinum Member? We have three flexible schemes for you to choose from. Silver Scheme - This scheme allows a maximum of 350 SMSes which can be used by tutor to send or receive SMS to Student or by TuiTionTube.com to send SMS to tutor or to student on behalf of the tutor. Gold Scheme - This scheme allows a maximum of 450 SMSes which can be used by tutor to send or receive SMS to Student or by TuiTionTube.com to send SMS to tutor or to student on behalf of the tutor. Platinum Scheme - This scheme allows a maximum of 500 SMSes which can be used by tutor to send or receive SMS to Student or by TuiTionTube.com to send SMS to tutor or to student on behalf of the tutor. Commission of 50% of the first month tuition fees for each student referral will still be chargeable by TuiTionTube.com. Each SMS sent/received will be deducted from the total SMS available and once the maximum SMS has been fully utilised, the tutor must renew the SMS subscription. How does TuiTionTube.com deduct the SMS available? For example, a tutor logins and request online or via quick apply for a tuition assignment that is registered under TuiTionTube.com. An SMS(as well as email) will be sent to the student/parent. This is consider one SMS. When student/parent conducts an SMS chat with the tutor, an SMS(and email) will be sent to the tutor for each message sent. The number of SMS will be deducted accordingly. When Tutor replies to the Student/Parent via SMS(an email will also be sent to the Student/Parent) or login and use the online SMS chat, the available SMS will also be deducted accordingly for each message sent. When Student/Parent sends a request for tutor to Send Acceptance Confirmation via SMS, 1 SMS will be deducted from SMS available. An email will also be sent to the tutor. When tutor replies by sending Acceptance SMS via mobile or via the online Acceptance Confirmation, 1 SMS will be deducted from the total available. An email will also be sent to the Student/Parent. When Student/parent places an order for the tutor, an SMS will be sent to the tutor notifying the tutor of the tuition details and location, 1 SMS will be deducted from the total available. An email will also be sent to the tutor. How do I check how many SMSes has been deducted from my account? You can check your SMS available balance by login in your tutor account. You can also view the details of each message sent and received under each tuition job under Student Requests and My Requests. How much commission does TuiTionTube.com charge? 50% of the very first month's tuition fee payable to the tutor will be paid by TuiTionTube.com after receiving 100% from the student. What is required of me as a tutor? We require the tutor to demonstrate commitment, dedication, enthusiasm, responsibility and most importantly, professionalism in every subject he or she is assigned to teach. How soon must I respond to an SMS message from the Student/parent or TuiTionTube.com? We also require the tutor to respond to the Student/Parent SMS within 3 hours upon receiving an SMS from the Student/parent. TuiTionTube.com reserves the right to suspend the tutor's account should the incidents of non-reply to Student/Parent SMSes be more than 3 times. The available SMS will be forfeited and no refund will be given to the tutor. The tutor account may also be suspended wherein the tutor will not receive any further tuition assignments/request from us. What if I am only free during certain days and time? With our sophisticated search engine, the system allows you to specify your search criteria to the level of which day and which time slot you are available. The system will then match your time slots with those of the students. It has been some time after I registered, but I still haven't been offered any assignments. Our online search system allows the students to choose the tutors and also the tutors to choose the students online! Hence there is no need to wait for us to manually match your needs with that of the students. You can also do it yourself! However, as an added service to tutors who join us as members, we do provide help in this area. You will also be sent email newsletter on new available tuition jobs.

	FAQ - Referrers      What benefits to I get from referring students/tutors to TuiTionTube.com? When you refer a student/tutor to us, upon successful matching of a student-tutor, we provide benefits to the referrer. If the referrer is a tutor subscriber with us, once he has attained at least a certain number of successful student-tutor matches, we will waive his subscription for the next term. For example, if he subscribes for 6 months and if he achieves - 3th successful student-tutor matches, we will extend his subscription for another 3 months free! - 4-6th successful student-tutor matches, we will extend his subscription for the another 2 months free for every student-tutor matches - 7-9th successful student-tutor matches, his subscription will be extended for another 3 months for every student-tutor matches. If referrer is a student, he/she himself/herself must have taken a tutor from us and must have achieved - a minimum of 3 successful student-tutor matches to get CASH payment of 10 % of the commission that TuiTionTube.com gets from these 3 student-tutor matches - 6 successful student-tutor matches to get cash payment of 15 % of the commission that TuiTionTube.com gets from the student-tutor matches If the referrer is a non-tutor subscriber with TuiTionTube.com, upon achieving - minimum 3 student-tutor matches, 15% of TuiTionTube.com's total commission for these 3 matches - 4th-6th student-tutor matches, 10 % of TuiTionTube.com's total commission for each additional student-tutor matches - 7th-10th student-tutor matches, 8% of TuiTionTube.com's commission for each additional student-tutor matches The same tutor or same student referred can only be counted once in any student-tutor matches. Any subsequent student-tutor match related to the same student/tutor referred will not be eligible for referral fees. Similarly any student-tutor matches where both student and tutor are referred will only be attributed half the referral fees payable - half to student referrer and the other half to tutor referral. How do I refer a student or tutor to TuiTionTube.com? If you are a student or tutor already registered with us, you just need to give your student ID or Tutor/Subscriber ID to your friend for them to quote when they registration online with us. We will do the rest. If you are not currently registered with us, you can register as a referrer with us first. Once registered with us, you will have a referral ID which you can give to your friend student or tutor to register with us. When will referral commissions be paid to the referrer? If subscribers, encashment of referral fees are not allowed. They can only be converted into subscription extension. Referral fees will be paid upon achieving the necessary minimum student-tutor matches and ONLY upon full payment of commissions to TuiTionTube.com by the student-tutor matched. Any disputes regarding payment or calculation of referral fees, TuiTionTube.com will exercise its sole discretion and its decision will be final. Referrer will not be eligible to make any legal claims against TuiTionTube.com.
